Boron - Serbian Mining Update

 

 

Small amounts of boron are used in the production of E-glass fibers, which is widely used in the production of industrial fiberglass products. Today's article in Marketwatch, 'Serbian Boron Project Update', is an update from a boron mine in Serbia. More and more boron free glass, typically referred to as ECR-Glass, are being used throughout the industry as more research is showing that boron free glass fibers are more resistant to more chemicals that previously thought.
